These links have been gathered by me from the net in an effort to provide you, my visitor, with access to many of the sites I consider to be interesting or useful or both in having a happy, healthy relationship with dogs. Even if you don't feel able to provide a home for a dog you probably will come in contact with many of them in your life time if you live in North America. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet mind to mind with another species - who says we have to go off planet?

The fidelity of a dog is a precious gift demanding no less binding moral responsibilities than the friendship of a human being. The bond with a true dog is as lasting as the ties of this earth can ever be.
Tai This is Tai, this Christmas. Sher has lived with us since she was about 8 weeks old (she just turned 11 years old). Before that she spent 2 weeks at the S.P.C.A. She is part Staffordshire Terrier and apparently, even though she was such a small bundle of fur, people were afraid to adopt her because they were afraid of the "Pit Bull myth". I firmly believe, and it has been my experience, that there are no "bad breeds" just different personality types in need of different approaches. Tai is a wonderful, gentle, loving member of our household, incredibly patient with Raven and with Tigger our Tabby ... so much for the unfounded fears that left a small frightened puppy in an concrete bunker for two weeks.
