Raven has now been with us for about 4 months (February 20, 1999) and we are both still learning from each other. I am using positive reinforcement only to relate to Raven. It is such a wonderful way to have a relationship. She has absolute trust in me and knows that I won't hurt her; I feel wonderful about our relationship and delight in her interaction with me.

This is Raven, at Christmas. She thought it was great. We expected that she would become over excited by all the activity and might be a problem. However, we decided she would be allowed to participate. She was invited into the living room with us and we couldn't have been more wrong in our concerns. She responded like a little princess. We all showed her our presents and played with her with her presents; all to great success! She was interested and involved but did't try to climb all over everyone nor to damage any of the presents. Finally, she became tired and simply lay down to sleep for a while. A great success for her first major party with the family and our fiends. Everyone present was very impressed.
